BIDUK Invests In Small and Growing Businesses (SGBs)

From the very beginning, we build close relationships with our clients to understand their needs and co-create with them the best financial solutions for their businesses. We work to build mutual trust.

We bridge the financing gap for
early stage business

Our financial products and loan sizes are intended for clients who have grown beyond microfinance, but who are not quite ready for angel investors, private equity or venture capital.

We create a “bridge” to support growing businesses in this vulnerable but important growth stage.

We offer flexible lending products

We work with clients to structure a loan that works for them. What does this mean?

  • We do not require collateral
  • We use grace periods and structure variable repayment options
  • We work with informal processes
  • We do not take ownership in the company or a seat on the Advisory Board.

We build Sustainable
Businesses in Indonesia

As a partner for our clients—not just a financier—we help our clients build healthy and resilient businesses, sustainable for the long term and a variety of conditions. We do not encourage over-indebtedness or growth that is too rapid. We want to see each client become a stable part of the Indonesian economy, by creating jobs and becoming dependable members of their communities.

We use cash-flow based lending analysis

Our financial products are customized with a specific business cash flow in mind; this makes us able to support businesses that are not very well served by standard lending products like bank loans, purchase orders, factoring or venture capital. Our maximum loan term is 18 months.
